We are seeking a skilled and dedicated plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely, including installation of heat pumps and solar.
A fully qualified Red Seal plumber with specialized experience in solar and heat pump installations is required to ensure that all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with provincial codes. These systems are critical to tenant’s safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
The Plumber position is essential to the operations of Pacific Edge Properties Ltd. due to the nature and scope of work required at the residential building. The building contains multiple units with complex plumbing systems, converting some to heat pumps and solar equipment that require ongoing maintenance, repair, and installation.
Duties
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, in residential and commercial settings.
Install heat pumps and solar installations.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, drainage, and heating systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Perform welding tasks as required for pipe connections or repairs.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to ensure comprehensive system functionality.
• Adhere to all safety regulations while performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks
